NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Calaveras Local Agency Formation Commission that public hearings will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 6:00 pm regarding the following items:

1. Final 2025-2026 LAFCO Budget to make a preliminary determination thereon by the Commission.   Any person may be heard regarding the increase, decrease, or omission of any item from the budget or for the inclusion of additional items.

1. A service review (MSR) for Cemetery services and a Sphere of Influence Update  for the Altaville Cemetery District, Copperopolis Cemetery District, Mokelumne Hill Cemetery District, Murphys Cemetery District, Rail Road Flat Cemetery District, San Andreas Cemetery District, Vallecito Cemetery District and the West Point Cemetery District

The public hearings will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chambers at 891 Mountain Ranch Road, San Andreas, CA on May 19, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard. All interested parties have the right to appear and be heard at this time. If you challenge the action of the Commission on any of the above stated item in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Calaveras Local Agency Formation Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
